A complete renovation and voluntary seismic upgrade as well as the expansion of the existing store floor plates and all new interior finishes throughout the 220,000 SF building. Plant also executed a number of extreme alterations such as: removing, relocating, and replacing multiple escalators; renovating four existing store entrances and adding a fifth entrance at the north elevation; and reconstructing all of the restrooms, all while the building and retail operations remained open to customers. As part of the project, the store interiors were completely re-configured and almost all finishes were replaced.
