Jacob Moss

As Plant’s first and only In-House Counsel, Jacob is a trusted member of the executive management team. He has overall responsibility for risk management, and oversees the Human Resources, Workforce Development, and Administrative departments. Along with Plant’s Chief Financial Officer, Jacob also handles subcontractor prequalification and risk mitigation, and insurance procurement and claims.

 

Prior to joining Plant, Jacob worked for a law firm handling complex construction litigation and transactional issues for general contractors, subcontractors and owners. He gained an understanding of the technical aspects of construction through his work with engineers and design professionals on construction litigation cases.

 

Jacob obtained a juris doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University, where he played varsity baseball for four years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco.
