James Elliott PE, LEED AP BD+C

James Elliott joined Plant in 2016 with background in civil engineering design, consulting, and construction management. As an introduction to the general contracting side, he started his career at Plant in the Estimating Department and proceeded to Senior Project Manager before transitioning to Operations Manager.

Prior to joining Plant, he played a key role as a Professional Engineer on the new SF-Oakland Bay Bridge and contributed to the structure’s seismic integrity investigation. Before relocating to the Bay Area in 2014, he assisted with the civil design for large commercial solar plants and mixed-use developments in Southern California.

James is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and served as a Jumpmaster on the Wings of Blue Parachute Team. As a civil engineering Officer in the Air Force, James led major infrastructure projects in Afghanistan and supported air base operations in Guam and Las Vegas.
