In 2022, Plant converted 41 motel units into permanent affordable housing for San Francisco residents. The work consisted of interior upgrades to two of the buildings; cabinetry and equipment installation; ADA and site security compliance; interior upgrades to 17 units; exterior enhancements; and landscaping.

Plant was additionally hired for Phase 2, set for a 2024 completion, which will further enhance nearly 50 single room occupancy units.
