Presidio Battery Bluff
This 16-acre development of a new park and infrastructure runs through the existing Presidio Cavalry Bowl and on top of the US-101 tunnels. Construction included heavy earthwork import operations, soil amendment, site utilities (storm drain systems, drain inlets, electric conduit), site concrete (retaining walls, stairs), hardscape flatwork, site fencing, landscaping, irrigation, planting, final erosion control installation, site furnishings, and AC paving of a new M.U.T. Plant self-performed complex radial architectural concrete; resurfacing of existing retaining walls with color-matched concrete; SWPPP; slope stabilization; and the restoration of four historic military batteries, which included media blasting and anti-graffiti coating.
