Project Award: The Gateway Vista West

Plant was recently awarded the contract for the voluntary structural upgrade for the 22-story Gateway Vista West (Phase 2). Our team, which recently turned over similar work on The Gateway Vista East housing complex in San Francisco’s North Waterfront neighborhood, will perform concrete and fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) improvements, selective demolition, and build back of existing finishes. This will be Plant’s second project with structural engineer Saiful Bouquet Structural Engineers, with whom we completed a seismic retrofit of the occupied, 30-story Fox Plaza Apartments, and one of many with Architectural Resources Group, our design and historic preservation partner of nearly three decades. Work will begin later this month and is set for completion in February of 2025.
