We are excited to announce that the Continental Development Corporation has awarded the Plant + Gensler design-build team the contract for the renovation of The Plaza in El Segundo, California.
The scope of work in Phase 1 includes upgrades to the lobbies, refurbishment of the elevators, re-landscaping of the courtyard, window repairs, and enhancement to parking garage aesthetics. Phase 2 includes the creation of a conference center, including a 125-person assembly space, offices, and a rooftop recreation deck.
The first phase of construction of the 65,000-square-foot office building, which began last month, is slated for completion in August of this year, with Phase 2 targeted for June of 2027.
