Bentley School

New construction of the Bentley School gymnasium, a 15,000 SF structure characterized by large steel roof trusses that penetrate through the building skin to create deep exterior overhangs. The roof is constructed of metallic finished standing seam aluminum panels that partially wrap down one elevation to frame an exterior breezeway. Other exterior finishes include a clear anodized aluminum window system and plaster. The interiors include a sprung maple sports court, retractable bleachers, girls’ and boys’ locker room facilities, a coach’s office, and a basement storage space.
