Plant performed this conversion of a 20,000 SF motorcycle dealership, built in 1925, into an art pavilion for the private, PK-12 high school. The work consisted of hard demolition of ramps and floor areas, seismic strengthening, reconfiguring the floors for music classes at the basement level, art classes and gallery on the ground floor, and a black box theater on the second level. All new utilities and an elevator were installed as well as new MEPFS systems. The exterior look of the building was preserved, and new windows and entrances were installed. The project received LEED Certification.
